Repeatedly rings

Same as many others, caller tells me he calls regarding my meter. Says I always pay on time. when I asked who is calling and how he knows that. He didn't answer and get waffling on. Once I said I am not interested, he said " Yes I can hear that from your tone" And had the cheek to tell me "to hang up and don't waste his time". when I called back the number it says it is temporarily unavailable.

Always rings I say hello and it hangs up. Call the number back and it says the number is unavailable

Got a call from (03) 9088 8433 but no one answered when I called. Returned the call but message aid number temporarily unavailable

Thank you ReverseAustralia I love this site. I automatically check any suspect numbers and report them when necessary. I am on the do not call register and yet I still get calls. so I urge everyone that gets bothered by scam or psam or nuisance calls, firstly register with do not call register https://www.donotcall.gov.au/ and this will significantly cut down on the number of calls you receive (can take up to 30 days to gt activated so be patient) and then if you still continue t receieve calls - report it here and jump on line and reister a complaint at the do not call register.

I get one to two calls a day from this number. It's now on my auto reject list.
Do not answer, or if you can't resist... then do not give any personal information to them. Some of these scammers are recording your voice for key words e.g. your name, your address, yes or no etc.

A family member of mine has been badly scammed - it's gutting! Do Not give these low-lifes anything... anything!!

Calls go straight through to message bank. Almost the same time everyday but no message ever left. Don’t know why telcos can’t block disable numbers they know aren’t lagitament. The only way to stop these overseas scams is by government and telcos working together to ban/lock these numbers.

Caller: Indian scammer

Persistent calls received from this scammer from different numbers in (03) area code to my landline and mobile. They sound as if they are calling through a call centre. Sometimes saying they are from Microsoft, Optus, Telstra or a solar panel company. If you receive calls from this number 9088 7077 or 8456 5493 just hang up.

Two missed calls, today the first at 12:40 PM, and then again at 4:56PM. Didn't leave a message, added their number to my reject list. Already in use. How did they get through? Phone didn't ring either time so not calling the back for what I've been reading about this number.

Asian caller calling from energy connect or something like that.
I told them that I'm on the do not call register and that it's an offence to call me and then dropped an F bomb to tell him to stop annoying me.

Blocked number but still getting constant calls that ring for a second.

Claimd to be from electricity company and kept asking if I still lived in Melbourne (I have never lived in Melbourne or Victoria) I kept repeating “no thank you” to all of his questions he got very angry and started yelling at me so I told him to f*ck off and hung up
