I told him to take me of their list straight away.
"But Madam, you're not my list..." - Hang up.
Same number tried to call once there after.

Saying from an energy company telling me I will get a 42% discount on my energy bill if I pay on time. Told me He was going to quote my meter number to prove he was legitimate. Asked leading questions to prompt me to say yes which I avoided. He mentioned the suburb which I lived in and asked me to confirm my address. I told him that he should know what my address was given he implying he knew all about me....I asked where he was from again...no response....I again said you should know my address and he repeated what I said stuttering and hung up!!......Gotcha you scammer!!

Claimed to be energy connect in offshore unknown location which uses a reverse phoneline that appears to be calling from within australia and offered a discount on your energy bills. Weeks later i found out theyd disconnected my electricity account without my authority and put it under their ownership. I called the my elec. Company today to inform them of the situation..
these people are scammers who prey on those unsuspecting few to give up few minor personal details they to scam money out of australia

This number called me yesterday - Asian male - also said from Energy Company to compare prices. Told him I wasn't interested and hung up. I have had another 2 calls today from almost the same number (03) 9088 8435, which I have not accepted as it would be the same place. I don't know how long it will take for them to get the message!!??

They called and asked for Frank. I didn't know anyone by the name of frank but i played along with it as an alias by the name of Belinda and Frank couldn't come to the phone because he was experiencing some heavy bowel movements. He then addressed me by Mrs Frank. I had to correct him and advised its Mrs Belinda. He then said he was Bryan from an energy company in which i responded by saying "sorry was your name Sam?" then he pretty much spelt out Bryan and i responded by saying "Ohhhh John" Then he was that upset i couldn't get his name right that his final words he huffed to me was "God" then hung up.................Clearly doesn't want my business.

Called my number and angrily asked for James - when I said wrong number they hung up

The comments received below were very helpful and I didn't bother answering. A two word message was left and then they hung up. My phone recognises the number as scam.

Someone named Nicole Newall gave my number as hers as this is what I was greeted with. He says he is doing energy comparisons. Doesn't take no for an answer.

Has called me 2-3 daily for the last two weeks. One call went to my voicemail and could hear faint talking in the background. Sounded like a call centre. Blocked number.

A woman with an Indian voice mumbled something about an energy company. When I tried to call the number back, it was unavailable.

I tell em their number is being traced once they hear those words they simply hang up an don't attempt again. They're useless morons that have nothing better to do with their pathetic lives but try to take advantage of others but to no avail do they get what they rang for.
