Keeps calling and not leaving a message - Call back says mail box can not receive any more messages but doesnt say who it is

After 17 calls in 3 days, finally decided to answer them, It is People's Choice about electricity. Once again, Asian accent hard to understand, will not listen.

I received a call which I answered, I said Hello & I could hear background noice but nobody spoke, I’ve called the number back (03) 9088 1710 & after a number of rings it went to voicemail with the following recording “ The person at extension 1019 is unavailable, please leave your message after the tone, when done hang up or press the pound key, Sorry but the users mailbox can’t accept more messages” then there are 3 beeps & the call hangs up

spam sh*t yet again, this is why i do not answer phone calls at all unless you are in my phone. Blocked

Mobile phones: Don't recognise number, NO message, so Google it. Previous comments negative so: Save the number, give it the name zpest, so all the zpests are at the end of your real contacts ... then press 'done' (up at the top), go down again and press 'Block this Caller' (which is in blue), then press "Block Contact' (which is in red). Done! They give up!
Home phones: We have a Telstra Call Guardian phone and the nuisances just never leave their name when asked to; and do not leave a message which is also an option. They just hang up! I check with Google to see if genuine, invariably no, select option block number, then option always block number. No more calls.

Have been regularly getting calls from this number; no one ever speaks & if I call back it says "The person at extension 1019 is unavailable...". Have decided to block the number.

I called back number (03) 9088 1710 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Same as the rest of the comments, rings twice hangs up. Likewise if the number doesn't show a name in my phone book Block the number. IT IS HIGH TIME THE TELCO"S WERE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR ALL THE SPAM PHONE CALLS.

Just keeps calling

SCAM! Said they were from eBay and my number had been used to purchase iTunes card and asked for my details. Once I said they were a scam and I work for security things they hung up and blocked my number.

I am so over all these tele marketers calling, wish there was some way of blocking them altogether they are just so annoying. I am getting to the point of screening all calls & not answering my phone, causing me to have to ring people back. I'm so pissed off with telemarketers.

After I told them I am on the do not call register, & wished then to stop calling me. The person on the phone started abusing me and trying to fight with me. I told them I will report them and they said that she knew I wouldn’t do such a thing & said she would like to listen to how I will report her because I didn’t know her name. Do not answer there calls!! Block!

Usual spam script saying he was from people's choice. He already had my name. After repeated probing he said he was calling on behalf of the federal government and the purpose of the call was to inform me about the mandatory rebates that the government has now ordered all energy providers to give. Such rubbish. I kept challenging him and he eventually got angry with me, said because I wouldn't listen to him he's going to disconnect my electricity line tomorrow and then he hung up hahaha!

Someone should go and burn these telly marketing office is down
