Caller: Someonw claiming to be from Amazon

Recorded message saying that i had place an order for an iphone and that i needed to press 1 to talk to an executive to confirm or cancel the order otherwise i would be charged the cost of the phone in the next 48 hours. hung up and called back but sad the number was disconnected.

Caller: A male voice claiming to be from the Commonwealth Investigation Dept

Advised that my account had been hacked into & someone from New Zealand had taken money from my account. After trying to guess the numbers on my card multiple times they wanted me to read out my card number which I was definitely not going to do ! they then said it was coming from an I.P address in Tasmania & once again started trying to guess my card number & when I refused to give it to them stating it should be on my file they hung up - when I called the number back there was a recorded message saying the number had been disconnected

Same as evryone else here, a man with indian accent asked me if I made a payment of $799. I could hear the noise of his car driving... I stop him right there and then and told him that he should get a proper job instead of trying to scam people! It makes me so angry 😡😤😡
Please don’t fall for it. Blocked!

A man with an Indian accent named “Thomas Brown” 😂 called stating my Commonwealth bank account had been hacked. I needed to give him my card number and pin so he could rectify this problem,I could not use internet banking for two days whilst he sorted out problem ( drained my balance!!) Thommo even gave me a new card number over the ph!! What a low act! Beware older people who may fall for this. Karma will get you Mr Brown!

This guy called me this afternon and said I have transfered about 799 AUD to someone named David Wilson. I said I do not know that person and I haven't made any transaction. It also does not come up on my transaction history. He was preparing to ask my card details etc.
I realized immediately that it was a scam call and hung up. Be aware of the scammers!

Caller: Fake Caller From Commonwealth Bank (03) 9068 6142

Call centre noises in the background. Addresses me by name, says he's from Commonwealth Bank and my account may have been hacked - he says there is a suspicious transaction for $799. I ask which account, he doesn't answer, he then asks ME for my account details. I hang up. I then notify Commonwealth Bank.

Same as the rest of the reports, Male with Indian accent asking if I have made a payment of $700+ to overseas, when I questioned him what & when the transaction took place, he hung up on me. Definitely mobile scam!

I just got one. Claiming my Commonwealth bank account has been hacked. I told him that he had to tell me the tale. he was shocked when I didnt take him seriously. He told me I could have been scammed. I told him that if I had been scammed it would be him doing the scamming. He hung up then.

Guy called ‘Thomas Brown’ (Indian accent), from CBA with a transfer overseas to NZ. Question me about if I have an account with them, I asked that being in fraud Dept he should know if I do or not! (I do not) in the end I just said no I don’t have an account, then he hung up (rude). DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION TO THESE PEOPLE! SCAMMER

Asking if I have a Commonwealth Bank Account. I told her I do bank with CBA, then said what about ANZ or NAB. I asked her why you want to know my bank account? She couldn’t answer. Then I hung up.

Received a call from this number. Guy said the same things to me I can see he has done to numerous other people on her, that someone has tranferred 799 from my account to New Zealand. He then went on to tell me he would send me software to download to my phone to make my account more secure. Told him I was not installing software on my phone from a random caller. As soon as I said I was hanging up to call the CBA directly and ask if they would ever contact me like he has he hung up. Advised he was from CBA investigations Dept. Gave me an employee ID: 1322314049 and said his name was Jack Wilson but had strong indian accent.

As others above, received a call fro msn with Indian accent claiming to be from Cbank Investigations asking had I made a $799 overseas transfer. I don’t even bank with cbank ... he then tells me all banks go through Cbank ... at which time I hung up!

Checking that I had made a payment from my CBA account for 799.00 to a NZ account. I dbl checked with "Jack" that it was from a CBA account in my name and he said yes it was. At which point I called him a half wit as I don't have a CBA account!! Number blocked. If you are going to try to scam me do you research first Jack!!!
