Same got a call from above number as well. Blocking them

Called numerous times, when I answered they said my name I answered yes, then they repeated my name again and I aswered yes, this happened three times, I'm now worried that they recorded me saying yes , high risk of fraud, do not answer

Telemarketer claimed to ve iSelect, calling to offer better electricty plans.

When I answered, they hung up
When I tried to return call got message "optus advises the number you are calling is disconnected"
Blocking them

Thanks for everyone's information - I have blocked the phone number. Solved the problem!

Had a call from this number. Did not answer . They left a message 'hello hello' the lady did not leave a name or which company she was ringing on behalf of.
I am angry that our fkn numbers are given out and they call at all hours of the day interupting you while and home or work. This needs to stop

Tried to sell some energy plan.

Caller: Call Centre

Claimed to represent Direct Energy. Was very difficult to hear and appeared to not understand his script very well.

Caller: Company calling themselves Power Save from (03) 9068 3460

They called themselves Power Save when they rang me today. Second call in 2 days. Multiple missed calls.

Many calls from these scammers, answered call and they do not reply. Block number.

got a missed call, twice today, during a meeting. no message left on both counts. after reading the posts on here, will be blocking that number from iSelect. thanks for the tip.

missed call tried calling the number back but doesn't ring just hangs up so i have now blocked it.

Spam call re random electricity price (call themselves Electricity connect). Just block it guys. Also, seems pretty rude as they just hang up on you on the midway of the call when you say you are not interested.

No msg left. They tried calling several times in a few hours. Tried calling back but said ‘the mobile service you have called is switched off’.

When I picked up 2nd call today, deliberately didn't say hello for 2 sec. caller hang up

A male - gave no name, was trying to get my name etc and said was wanting to talk about my electricity bill. I asked where he was from - he paused. Said some generic name. Then said could offer good rates. Something did not feel at all right. I asked him to take me off his list. His reply was to say he would call me back. I said 'please take me off your list, it is the law...' and he hung up on me! I am going to block this number!!
