Caller: They say it's Ambulance Victoria Renewals

Got a call from this number - they say it's Ambulance Victoria regarding renewal of membership. i asked them to prove who they were as my membership is paid and up to date and they said they don't have to prove who they are but I have to provide them with 3 points of ID to prove who I am. They also told me that my membership was not up to date and i had not paid my renewal - I refused to give them any ID, hung up on them and called Ambulance Victoria to discover that my payment had been received and my membership was in fact completely up to date.
This is a scam number - DO NOT give them any information.

Ambulance Victoria - membership renewal
I had to confirm my DoB, but she knew all other details of my subscription, so this was a legitimate call to renew my AV membership. :-)

Call about ambulance cover renewal. It's legit, mine had just lapsed so it was a useful reminder as I had forgotten I needed to pay it.

I actually picked up the call, but they didn't say anything and hung up. It was skeptical and I didn't know who it was. That's why I'm here.

A foreign woman asked if she could talk to Fred. I said NO, PISS OFF! She did not identify herself.

Caller: Ambulance Victoria(?)

My membership had just lapsed, and they called me.
The bloke over the phone sounded Aussie, and was super helpful; however, I did read out my credit card details, which I immediately felt iffy about, and three days later CommBank rang me about a fraudulent transaction on the same card.
I'm not sure what to make of it, but I'm sus on this call now.

All these comments are saying it's ambulance Victoria renewal but I don't believe so as they don't have my phone number in their system so I shouldn't be getting a call from them if they don't even know my phone number. I was also on the phone to them a few days ago and we settled my renewal then (on a different phone) and if it was legit they would leave a message. Also one Google search will tell you that the Ambulance Victoria phone number is (03) 9840 3500 NOT (03) 9038 5703.

Got a call from this number, I answered and they stayed on the phone, then hung up. Weird.

Had 3 calls to my mobile from this number over last 2 days. Yes my ambulance subscription has lapsed and I received email and also a letter noting final notice. No messages were left for any of those calls which for me is a red flag so I won't be calling the number and probably not renewing he membership either given cover in my health fund.

I had an email a few days back advising that my subscription had ended which was true. I now have extras cover which has it, so I don't need to purchase direct from Ambulance Vic.
I believe this to be legitimate.
