Left a voice mail on my mobile. When i listened to it it was a computer generated voice saying i had a tax bill and had not answered any of there letters so a warrent for my arrest was raised. i am waiting the police to come and arrest me. Blocked the number on my phone.

automated tax call - saying I was evading my tax (and was going to be arrested). Blocked the call. Scammers going out of the woodwork to prey on everyone with COVID19 also in the mix. Scum.

ask if its owner of the company and when i said no, she (sounded like robot) hung up.

This is definitely a scam saying they are from the Australian taxation office. Strong accent. Stated they are from the crime investigation

They messaged me saying I’m under arrest for Tax Fraud. They are Indians going with fake names of Brian Cooper and John Williams

Are you with Telstra? I had a message that looked like it was in reference to a recent visit I had to Telstra and then when I called them it was the ATO scam. Just trying to find a link as seems like a co-incidence.

This is a computer generated voice saying that mail had returned unanswered and a warrant for my arrest will be issued. I guess I'll just wait for the police to come and arrest me. Delete and block!!

I called back number (03) 9018 7278 reached voice mail but did not say for what company.

Caller: ATO (apparently)

Told me my tax had not been lodged and I owed thousands of dollars, which is total BS.
