Caller: Claimed to be from Amazon. I strongly doubt this is the case.

The message was convoluted and something about responding immediately so they could refund the $299 if I hadn’t placed the order.
I called the number back and it is clearly a scam, claiming to be from Amazon. Kept asking for my name. I replied you have my number you can trace my order from this. They asked for my name again and when I suggested there are so many scams, she disconnected the call.

Message said I need to respond immediately to I could get a refund of $299 if I hadn't placed an order. I haven't ordered anything from Amazon and After reading the other post convinced its a scam.

Anyone had this number call you and say money was being taken out of your account if you didn't call back?

I got a call from them saying reply for a refund. It is a scam

The man I spoke to when I called back, said the exact same thing to me! Definitely a scam!

Same as previous comment asking me to confirm or cancel order of a gift card for $299.99. Disconnected call when I asked them to provide my name details.

Also had the same call with the same refund amount quoted.

The recorded message sounded incomplete and they never identified themselves or their organisation.

Got this call stating exactly as above. My aunt is 90 & couldn’t order on a phone number only phoneDon’t have an email. It’s a scam. Thanks for sharing.

Called to confirm we purchased an iTunes voucher for 299 and when I said no they requested our card details to refund the product.

Recorded message, Message same as 'Ronnie'(28 JUly 2020), I ignored.

Automated message. Clearly a scam. I just hung up. Exactly the same message with the same dollar figure as the one reported by Ronnie on 28 July.

I dont but anything from Amazon. Obviously a scam.

Automated message left regarding a debit of $299.99. Wanted a call back if I had not placed the order or press 1 to speak with a representative. If I wasn't to call back the debit would go ahead. Took no action as I believe this to be a scam.

Left a voice mail and it started with $299 from your account, please call if you didn’t place the order. I called back and an Indian woman answered the phone asking if she could help but didn’t say where she was calling from.
