Automated message saying there there has been a tax audit and there Federal Police are taking out a warrant aginast me. Called back and a woman with a strong Asian accent repeated that information - when I queried she said she would check my file and call back.

ATO scam?

Electronic voice threatening to arrest me. Wankers!

Caller left a voice mail from (03) 9016 3079. Did not catch the caller's name. Voice mail indicated that there were outstanding debts or other and threatened arrest, unless I rang back on a number (non 1300 or 1800). Checked out ATO's website and found this scam alert.
