Had a call from this number ,male voice said he was calling from the accident investigation squad. Would not say which state or which police. Insisted we had an accident near home recently and asked for our personal information to confirm our identity. When we asked him who he was looking for he hung up. Googled the name and it says this is a scam.

I called (03) 9005 7879 back but the number is not valid. I got unavailable tone after few rings.

Just had a call from Vida on this number She had an Indian accent. She said it was Accident Investigation. I asked where she was from. She sais Newcastle NSW. I told her I knew of no accident there that I didn't appreciate calls from scams and I hung up. It was a different ring tone to normal so I was suspicious from the start.
