don't these people have anything better to do. I got 8 phone calls, decided to give this number a call back, only to find out that I can called adrex (??) and the message bank was full and I could not leave a message. if they ring again and I answer the call some one better be on the other end of the phone cause I going to give them a serve. the amount of calls i get every week from these telemarketers it drives me crazy (and yes im on the DO NOT CALL register). like Telstra and virgin are the worst, "yes this isn't a sales call" well why the f*ck are you calling me!! OR they will ask about a certain company phone account - i just tell them that we don't have an account with your company and to f*ck off and call someone else and if the crap on like usual i give them some explicit words and hang up on them.
about time the government does something about this. its getting beyond a joke the number of calls we all get.

I found a simple way of fixing them - block the number. It still shows up on the phone, but at least it doesn't ring.

Originally came up as "Out of Area", we are now getting calls from this number with music playing in the background. WTF? Changed the ring tone on our home phone for this number so we can just hang up on it or let it go to voicemail.

The thing is, whether these calls are from overseas or not, they're switched through the Australian Telcommunications network, and if Senator Conroy had any balls at all, he'd do something to pull the plug on these scamming pricks.

Calls during business hours are usually fund raisers - hence can avoid the do-not-call list as they are deemed as community service. Fortunately for us we work all day and can't answer

I've received my first call from this number and it comes up on my caller ID as "Overseas" very weird. I to am on the do not call register BUT have since found out that it only stops Australian telemarketers from calling not the overseas ones.

I have had several calls from this number, no one is there when you say hello, I called the number (03) 9001 0038 and was told I had reached adrex but could not leave a message as box was full, well now I will look out for number and no t answer call. I guess someone out there who ever it is must have a huge phone bill.... They are just annoying.

It's a scam, they want your personal details, if you are working, that sort of thing. Don't be fooled by the local number, hang up on them.

I use a number of different languages, changing from one to another in mid sentence, it really confuses those with English with retroflex consonants. Ask your nonEnglish speaking friends for some useful phrases. Moshe, moshe. Jag vetar hvem du ar fnitta. Wie gehts mit deinem Arschloch? Pas mal? Eto horosho. Etc. Or you can just imitate animal noises. It's fun for the whole family.

Repeated calls but hangs up before having a chance to answer. I assign them to a PEST category
