Caller rang, didn't leave a message. Read other comments on this website. Tried calling but OPTUS advise that number has been disconnected.

Said I had malware on my pc. That I should go and fix the problem and go to my computer now. Could not properly identify anything about me. Although I told him I was a system admin, my pcs were safe, he was sounding polite and "convincing" I hung up on him, he called me back. Although he could not provide me with accurate references, he tried to convince me that the call was legit although I told him I would have expected contact from my isp. To the untrained, he would sound convincing.....please beware.

A guy called claiming he is from Telstra and said he was going to disconnect me from Telstra for the next 15 days due to a Malware problem in my PC/phone. After asking for his name and the country he was calling from...he didn't answer. I asked for his Telstra employee number and he started laughing and hung up on me. Please be aware.....This is a scam.

I refused the call but after reading comments here I am glad I did. I don’t answer I know callers

Claimed to be from Telstra with a South Eastern accent (Indian, Sri-Lankan)

Stated Internet would be disconnected within 15 days. Would not elaborate after I questioned him and eventually hung up

Phone has been ringing hot for 2 days. 1 minute it’s Microsoft calling about my computer, then it’s telstra claiming malware. Lol
