Its not Veda directly. Even though they pretend to be. Its a credit provider based in the philippines. Anyone who signed up to Koshies BS "free" credit score are doomed to receive these calls forever. Notice how they ask you for your score and details lmao... . I have a monthly credit score emailed to me from Veda. Its not free at all. I did the Koshie thing to see if the scores given were the same. Low and behold the Koshie Get Credit score was massivly inflated. 150 points higher than my true veda score. And now the bastard 3rd parties keep calling. Someone should hit up Koshies twitter account.. end rant lol.

I have answered the call and yes third party agency for Veda
As I had checked my credit score together with being an annual customer as I have subscribed to getting notifications and alert updates about changes to my credit file
They have upgraded my subscription and refund my current $80.00 and the next debit won't be until next December
Which will be 89.95 however I get full access to all of what I need as opposed to what I was getting before. I'm actually very happy because that refund of who I'm currently on couldn't have come at a better time

Suggestion though : it's a bit annoying receiving these types of calls more than once everyday. I just had enough of it and called it back so it was kinda well worth it in the end

I have the above number call me more than once a day. I have automatically blocked the number now because I have an android phone I still get the notification that they have either 1. Left a message 2. A text to say I have missed a call from this number.

Veda - if you have these third party organisations calling to sell us whatever it is I think you should be in a position to amend your terms and conditions and the options whether a person agrees to have these third parties contact us or

It lies with Veda to fix as we cannot get a free credit score without having to agree to them contacting us and when you don't select it it won't let you get your score.

Yep...Veda...made the mistake of doing the "free" credit rating thing.....Even when you block them it diverts to my message bank and a get a "you have a message" 101 from Telstra....not a very satisfactory blocking method by Telstra if they send me a message saying I have a missed call form a "Blocked" number ...Surely Telstra can do better!!!

My partner and I have both had these people call claiming to be from the Credit Check company; they asked my partner what his score was, so he said "you should already know that." Likely a scam.

I have been receiving all of a sudden lately a flood of callers like this, primarily from Victoria (03) numbers, but a few elsewhere and I am so sick of this nonsense. Especially when I am expecting to receive an important call and it turns out to be someone who needs to get a life trying to sell me something or scammers from overseas trying to tell my something is wrong with my computer... have had enough of this bullsh*t, Telstra should be held responsible because I feel this is an invasion of my privacy which I have not consented to.

Have had several calls from these people initially wanting to discuss my Credit Rating. Told them I knew what it is and dont need their help. They then tried to get my c/card details to arrange for bi-annual updates.
Have simply blocked their number now. They can now ring all they want - I dont care.

Definitely the credit score people. I told them my credit score is good because i paid my loans off and have no need to take out another loan or help with the cheapest rates to earn them a nice commission and hung up.

I answered but it was just a computer voice saying "I'm sorry that is not a valid extension" and then it disconnected.
