These calls are auto-computer generated. If answered, it diverts to the first available call taker.

It is a credit alert. They try and sell you a more premium service.

If anybody did Kochie's credit thing recently, you may have noticed a clause written in small writing that states that by agreeing to this "free" credit score and credit report, you also abide and acknowledge that information provided by you will be provided to associate companies to offer any/all applicable offers.

I am getting sick of these bullsh*t calls. Telstra needs to crack down on this. The do not call register is a joke

When I call back it, after hours, it says thank you for calling Veda, this department is closed right now. I am a customer of theirs.

VEDA Credit Score wankers. Kochie should have his balls cut off for this one, cooked up by a celebrity chef and fed back to him, all live on Sunrise tomorrow morning.

Its not Veda as ive called Veda because I have an account with them. It is a 3rd party organisation. If you have done a "free" online check, most of those pass on your details to credit suppliers. Those credit people are calling to offer loans.

Called these guys (Veda) back after numerous missed calls. They wanted all my personal info-name, address, DOB so they could pull up 'my account' to which I said I don't have an account no did I contact them to begin with. Asked why they have called? Told they couldn't tell me unless I gave them all my personal details...guess they only forget to ask for my bank details! Told them this is ridiculous & to take me off their list as on do not call register. Gosh by now I was getting annoyed!!! Their response from the offshore location was that wasn't possible unless I give them my personal details.. faaark off

Left a very long and bizarre automated message on my voicemail, it sounded like instructions on how to use their phone system. No details of the caller though.
