they call constantly and keep saying they are a discount provider aligned with Telstra and also seem to know that my home phone is provided by Telstra which is disturbing...I have told them I am not interested and also I am on the Do Not Call register, but they still call. Very annoying as they often wake me as I sleep during the day due to major illness.

We are experiencing the same, they ring us 7-8 times a day. They simply hang up when we pick up or they get abusive when we asked them not to call again! We even got called names!!! I hope the authority could do something about this nuisance calls.. So sick & tired of it!

What don't they get the first time you say NO THANKS GOODBYE...grrrrrrrr

These people are from companies that belong to http://zentelecom.com.au/contact.html ZEN Telecom. They call and call and ignore the fact that you have complained to ACMA, ACCC or the TIO. They ignore all requests to stop calling. They also go by the name of ALPHA TALK. Their number is 1300 789 241 Their address is PO BOX 3391,

This number keeps calling me. I'm on the do not call register but seems that is crap. Just add them to your blocked list in your phone or home phone. If you don't have a block list, buy a phone that does. I have lodged a complaint with the government, let's see if it works.

10 missed calls...when i finally answer and tell them to stop calling they become rude and hang up on me! They keep calling back. Ive told them to put it in writing and i will read at my convenience and they tell me they cant do that! I tell them i dont want them to call me and they keep calling. I am so sick and tired of these people calling. Please make them stop!

Same as above.. Months now, at least 3 times a day including weekends. Rarely there when answered, will not accept request to stop calling. This is criminal.

Same problem today - 15 calls in 2 hours. When you don't follow their script, they just hang up on you.

Spam callers, very persistant. Not from Telstra or any decent Aussie phone company.

OMG! How annoying are these grubs! We got one phone call every 2 minutes tonight and they simply hang up. when I finally spoke to someone and asked why they felt necessary to call every 2 minutes, she said she had not called. I took their number down and called it and left a voicemail for them telling them to stop calling or I'd call the police. 15mins now and no call back as yet!!

8 times in 4 hours reported it then rang the acma 1300 792 985 to stop all bothering calls them 3 more times now blocking the number though Telstar

They are not associated with Telstra at all! Basically they generate random numbers and dial it to see if it works. I work for Telstra, and yes police get involved every time to put a block on the number. Which generallythey won't do

company is alpha talk. google forums - they are scammers. intending to transfer the billing of your telstra phone to their company. report them to accc - are already looking into them. tio (ombudsman) if you find your telstra billing is affected. they are looking for you to just say yes.

We are having the same problem with these annoying pests, they must some how be making money from their actions otherwise they wouldn't be doing it.
Is telstra giving them a percentage of our call back costs???? who knows, but money has to be their motive.

6 times so far today & its only 12.42 pm so over them...

When out at work, they call up to 3 x times a day, leave blank message (hang up - never leave message).

Wouldn't surprise me if it's a scam / auto phone dialler - to log when u do / don't answer, to see when your home........
