I rung them back and went on a random tangent asking them about their staff insurance policies, along with questions for a survey which I made up (something about semolina consumption in South Africa). I got transferred to a "supervisor" which I then asked if she is interested to listen to the word of God. They hung up but I was bored so I kept ringing them back and asking random questions.

Caller: persons unknown selling electricity plans had 2 calls from this number, one I missed the other I answered They asked for me by name .... hmmm1 from me
I asked how they got my unlisted work mobile They refused ....so hmmm2 from me
They asked who my power provider was ...? hmmm3 from me as I don't have a power account with anyone
Again, I asked the (male person) that had rung me, an AFP police officer on my unlisted work phone, where they got my details from? Refused I asked to talk to their supervisor, they refused. Hmmmm4 ..from me
I told them the call would be referred to my senior officers in the AFP with a complaint about a call to me on my work phone. It would be traced
They immediately hung up and have not rung back.

Caller: (03) 6618 0521 I had Telstra block all calls from India, this has mostly stopped the dogs, these dogs are in Aussie so Ill just string them out for 15 mins and then abuse the clowns when they call back. They don't seem to like 4 letter expletives. I f--king hate the dogs.

Caller: Energy company I have told them on a number of occasions I'm not interested. I received 5 calls in 3 hours so the next time I answered and told them I was not interested. Guy tried to question me so I told him to shut up I was talking. I threatened to report them to the federal police and it was harassment. I didn't get a call for 4 days now I've had 2 in a short time. Think I need to buy a whistle and just blow that down the phone.

Caller: Simply energy From what I can tell (reading all these comments), they are obtaining people's number illegally and will start spamming you through various numbers
I got my first call yesterday (during work hours too) and then again, on a different number today, earlier in the morning. They want to 'help' you save on energy... without the participants even signing up or expressing interest. From other comments I read, they have begun calling multiple times in a day! I would either ignore, as best you can, or tell them that you are reporting them and what they are doing is illegal (I heard they will hang up on you, although not too helpful, just in hopes for them to stop)
What annoying bs
