I know nothing of their telephone fund-raising tactics these days, but this is a legit annual function; providing gifts for children in Out of Home Care and other needy children statewide. I have made a small donation to them for each of the last 20+ years. .

I called back number (03) 8657 5557 spoke to a woman who said company name is Special Children's Events.

Cather called several times asking for a specific person, said from special events????. Used slimy tactics to get that person, i.e. getting involved and was quite pushy. Then hung up when I challenged what type of support she needed
