I've just 4 calls from this number in the last two days - same as you, they hang up once i answer my mobile

Yes I also received that call! After I pick up the phone, there's lots of noise on that side, then it hang up several seconds layer

Number could be 8657 4540 or 8657 4541. Claims to be from an investment firm or a market research company. Lodging a complaint with Scamwatch

My son who is overseas has received repeated calls during the night from (03) 8657 4540 and (03) 8657 4541 and they never leave a message. When call returned the line is dead.

I just had calls from this number - they hang up if you answer - so, I blocked the number on my Iphone (go to calls, hit the 'i' and scroll down to "block this caller"

Yes they have called my number twice today and when I return the call its engaged. I think it maybe a number that's been calling to offer down lights and solar panels. Told them to take me off their list hasn't worked. Dodgy they need to be shut down. My land line is on a don't call list. They still call that also.

This number called me 7 times today!! The first was at 8am The last was at 7pm!! No one there when I answered

missed 2 calls in a row from this number, when i called back the line was dead

Called saying they were doing market research and I could win a $1000 Myer voucher. Asked 4 basic questions like did I own or was renting, did I have children. Obviously not the right answers as they then said goodbye :-) However, just got call from 8657 4541, so looks like that's not the end of it. Probably just a test to see if you answer.

they called twice and hung up both times, try calling back to hold their phone up, doesn't ring. Presume a telly marketer trying to get there call numbers up

I received 2 calls which quickly hung up. I also called them back and got a busy tone

I called back number (03) 8657 4540 rang once then goes to a busy tone.
