Caller: Said he was from WC

Very suspicious caller. Said he was from Southbank, wanted to speak to someone (not at my number), and preceded to ask about a Business Website that belongs to someone I know and wanted to come and see me about it. Told him he was not allowed to visit (not that I was going to anyway) because Melbourne is in Lockdown until next week. He did not seem to know anything about this and was very persistent. Hung up from him in the end. I think he was Phishing - did not get any info though.

Kept persisting to call - said she was from Southbank. Kept asking for the director, eventually she hung up abruptly.

Called asking for a guy that died years and years ago. Said he was from the WC calling regarding our website. He then said that he spoke to ‘The Boss’ but doesn’t have his number. Seemed very suspicious. Kept asking for the personal phone number of the owner of the business.

called and asked for manager - when advised they were not available and if we had their contact information we would be in touch if we are in need of their services - got rude and then hung up.

Said he was from WC and we spoke last Sep (2021). said we agreed to fix my website? or something. I advised her we did not agree to anything. I do not remember her calling me. I advised her she is a liar and scammer. She then hung up. So she makes out that we agreed and it is a big lie

Google Ad words sales call, trying to get you to update your website & google search ranking. Tried to trick me into speaking with the MD, posing as a customer (who she said she had already spoken to MD in the past)

Wanted to talk to Stuart. No Stuart available on our number. This person has called before. I remember him because when I challenged him about the call he got angry.

Said he was from Business optimization for website, asked for a Phillip, we don't have anyone at our work place with that name.
