I got a call a call today from this number, when I said hi the guy said he was from pre -legal and then went on to say he was calling about me work injury. As most of us have called the number back and didn't get anything else other than a recording , I thought I'd play a joke on whoever it was trying to scam me.

So I rang the both numbers they've called me from which are as follows (03) - 8636 - 8505 & 1300 001 521 number and left them a message saying please call me back about my work related injury and left my home phone number / which by the way just happens to be the (03) - 9247 - 6666 my Name Dave Flinders.

Now if everyone rings them back and leaves a message to give them a call back at the Number of your local COP SHOP they might get the picture and stop trying to scam us all.

I left the Number to FLINDERS STREET POLICE STATION on a message for them.

Take care all,

Happy Camper

Got a missed call from this number, no message left. I have no intention of calling back after reading these comments HOWEVER I did receive a text message at around 1am last night saying that they had received my claim and would contact me regarding my intention of seeking compensation. No idea how they got my number.

Received a personalised message on my iphone from a company called Pre-legal and now they are calling me from this Melbourne Number. I do wonder how they got my first name and my mobile phone number. This is definitely a scam and someone should shut down these scanners

Did a day's work for these people and that was more than long enough to realise what awful scammers they are. Even they're job advertisements are dishonest.

I missed the call but they left a message, sounded like a computer voice saying "hello Justin" then it hung up, Justin is not my name. Haven't been in any accidents or filled out any forms.

These guys called my partner, addressed him by name and asked if he'd been injured in a car accident. Hung up when he told them no without saying what company they called from or how they got his number.

As other users have said, the company is PreLegal (http://www.prelegal.com.au) who seem to be ambulance chasers. Their About page says they're owned by another company called Prolearn, which seems to be some kind of dodgy RTO (all the reviews I found were negative).

They're almost certainly collecting people's info from Seek, the way a lot of other dodgy RTOs do via fake job ads, and passing it onto their subsidiary PreLegal.

Unsolicited phone calls from them, no message left and when called the recorded message is conveniently unintelligible at the critical point of identifying the owner of the number

They text me twice yesterday first calling me by a different name, they then rang me 7 times today, on the 03 number and also on 0417 737 137, when I pick up, most of the time it hangs up or the other times they ask for someone with a different name? Not sure what the point of it is - I presume some sort of a scam.
