I received their text message which said they will call me and book my second dose of vaccine. However, I have fully vaccinated. It is clearly a scam call. Looks like they are gathering people’s personal information and target the vulnerable groups to exploit.

Ive been called 10 times today between 12.17pm and 7pm. It comes up as Potential Fraud so l dont answer. I try to call back but ALWAYS get recorded message. Theyve contacted me several other times in the last 2 weeks as well.

I reached out to VIC Health and they have confirmed that this is a scam. Do not provide any information to this number.

Very likely a scam. SMS they were from Victorian contact tracing and prepare to receive a phone call, called 15 times in 2 minutes then haven’t heard from them again in days. The sms looks official but the numbers you can’t call back and they are probably collecting credit card details to “mail test kits”.

I received a call from this number to conduct an interview re COVID exposure. Then within the next couple days I was receiving calls from a private number leaving msgs saying they are calling from DHHS about the same thing!
I was immediately sus as you can imagine. When I spoke to the private number I explained who I’d spoken to already and was confused as to why I was being called again. She said due to the large volume of calls they have to make DHHS do put call lists out to agency call centres for assistance. So this is no a hoax number

This is a legit callback.
I inquired about getting the vaccine through the COVID hotline and they called back on this number to book me in at one of the hubs.

Does look suss but it isn’t.

Several sms today attached to this number. Calls no connecting. No idea what the calls are about. Very suspicious it may be a scam

Got a call following up from a text (two texts actually). Person confirmed my name and then got the whole DHHS spiel about how the call would be recorded for safety and quality control, and how health information may be required with consent blah blah blah. I was just about to say "I agree" when the caller hung up on me. Didn't call straight back so I don't know what the call was about

I wasn't called but I received a text from a number with the title "Vic Health". The text said to expect a call from the number "in regards to COVID-19". I booked a vaccination this week so I figured it was related. However its been 2+ hours and I still haven't received a call, and I'm not going to call the number. I wasn't suspicious until I searched it up

i got a call, received it and told me she was from dhhs. When I asked if I could call her back tomorrow she told me I cant as they are calling from backend (smth). She told me to stay quarantine for 14 days and asked for my gmail too. Dont know. she said she will call me back tomorrow. She called me at 9:45 pm. Do we even get this late call from DHHS?

She asked me for my address and when i questioned the authenticity she couldn't answer. She told me to self quarantine for 14 days due to my exposure to one of the COVID contacts site but she couldn't reveal which site it was. Looks like they are looking for vulnerable people so that they can exploit further.

Missed call, no message left. Rang number back and automated message told me ‘DHHS would in touch, not to do anything’. I’m currently in isolation, which is why they would have called.
