I think it's a scam. Had the same problem from this number. when I rang back, they hung up. Is there some authority we can contact to chase these people up & force the people using this number to cease scamming people?

I got a missed call from this number too. I rang it back and the phone rang then disconnected.

I got a miss call from this number,When i did call back to this number it is connecting to the modem and cutting off,Iam bit confused and worried about these kind of scams.

Same number, same thing when I return call.  I'm thinking its a telemarketer or a number connected to a modem from a plugin/app from a site/program. Yeah I think that made sense.

Received a call from this number it was female possibly asian. She told me that she was calling from AGL, insisted that I give her my contact details ie. full name and date of birth. I refused, insisting that I have an account with AGL - I don't! She advised me to call her call back number to verify her call.  I rang the 13hundred number and it was Esanda Finance who advised they have nothing to do with AGL. I rang (03) 8620 7500, it rang and then cut off. A little dodgy, I think.

Did you ever find out who this was? I missed a call from this number today and had the same when I rang it back, just answers then hangs up.
