I just had a missed call from this number, what’s strange is that I live in the UK and always have done.

The phone and internet went dead - a roads contractor with backhoe allegedly - an undisclosed but large number of people in inner Adelaide suburb lose their phone and internet. An entire week goes by, finally it is all back on. Then the calls start via this number, and via blocked number - a call from "Telstra" - a Phil. woman, yes thanks, phone is on... and again and again, today - a week later - I took calls to my mobile number 8 and 9, with an unknown number of calls to the landline unanswered. Some woman from Phil. this morning, some man from India this afternoon. Each time I tell them I did not request a call back from Telstra or anyone else, they will stop the calls... we will see... obviously they are some third party contractor that our glorious Telstra that thinks calling randomly between 8.00am and 8.00pm to check if the phone is still working is a valued service... oh no, just as I'm finishing typing this I get a call from (02) 8302 6100 - another damn Telstra dill calling about my "complaint" about all the calls, this has become ridiculous.

It's definitely a call from Telstra as I had requested a callback from them.

These people must hack into Telstra calls as they know when you are calling Telstra. They ring you back pretending to be from Telstra. Don't give them any private information. Tell them you will phone Telstra on their official number 132200.

I got called by this number several times to my mobile. Researching it I have found that it 'could' be Telstra. Problem: never in my life have I been a Telstra customer. 17 yrs a Vodafone mobile customer, 13 with Optus internet.........I never reported any issues to Telstra, clearly seeing as though I have nothing to do with Telstra. I blocked it.

Be very careful I did have a genuine IT problem with an email address and did receive a genuine call back from Telstra on my specific request. However, about an hour later I received a call purporting to be from Telstra relating to problem emails emanating from my computer. He tried to gain access to my computer through Teamviewer, I recognised the scam/extortion attempt and played him along for over an hour, lots of fun, then he swore at me and I swore at him. Initially, the call came from (03) 8619 7779 then when I answered the call it terminated then immediately another call from an anonymous number that is when the game began. In my opinion, both calls were linked

It may be Telstra, it may be an Automated service, it may be about our landline fault BUT WHY DO IT RING ME AT 12:45 AT NIGHT. If you do respond with a 3 as requested it won't accept it. I know where I want to put the 3.

Liar liar liar
This is not a con either. It is Telstra replying via text click link from your phone when you requested a call back service.

beware you can not call back this number, as Telstra do not want to speak with you
You see it seems they are going good service but in fact they aren't
Because they don't want to help you but try to seem they are oh my what a con service providers are
Even email
