Got the call on my mobile, & they hanged up when I stated who I was. I called back on silent land line to express displeasure & got the automated message listed above. Got chance to leave message & stated what occur & want a please explain. Since the number is listed here I doubt that will happen anytime soon! Thanks for answers, I will now block that number from my mobile. Very annoying when trying to get a job & hear back about applications!

Received a telephone call from this company at 2.50 pm 17/7/15 from a female who identified herself and the financial company. She advised that she was calling on behalf of the Australian Government to advise home owners and employed people earning a joint income of over $90,000 p.a. that there will not be a pension available at retirement time. She advised that the Australian Government have set up a plan for a percentage of your taxable income to be redirected to either a personal mortgage or into a future pension account. She tried to ask personal questions in relation to the amount of equity in my home, if I currently salary sacrifice into my superannuation, if I was married or single, what the take home salary was, how much is owing on the mortgage. I would not give any specific particulars. She then asked if I met the criteria of earnings and mortgage equity in my home. She then arranged an appointment to call back to provide further information. I asked her to send an email with her company particulars with their link to the Australian Government website with their details of their incentive package. I have not received this email.

I got asked questions relating whether I would be meet the tax 'claiming it back' offer. I said this is like scams and I'm not happy to give out info. She suggested I consider answering her more tomorrow so she can pass the info on to her manager for the next step. And no she could not provide info by postal or email......

It's a scam. Talked about a tax offset and tried to ask personal finance questions. Do not answer.
