Has anyone reported this number (03) 8518 4287, to the authorities?

We received the same call... Automated aswell..

On October 23 2015 my elderly mother had a message about outstanding debt to the ATO, arrest warrants and legal action from this number. The number to ring back (03) 8518 4287.

Friday 23rd October, just prior to 9am a message was left on my answering machine threatening issue of an arrest warrant and legal action against us (no one was named) for tax avoidance and/or tax evasion, but gave us the opportunity to settle up before it was too late. The number to ring back was (03) 8518 4287. The caller states that it is an automated message, but it was of very poor sound quality. Same as Bronwyn, but no accent

Today Oct 22 a caller left an automated message of a similar nature to above comment re tax avoidance. This message was read with an Asian accent. I immediately thought it was a scam so followed no instructions the message gave.

I received the same message on the 22nd October

It is spoken in a pseudo-Oz accent according to my ear...
They also say you are accused of tax evasion and tax avoidance - the latter us actually legal..
How can they use an Aus ph no - local scam or computer redirected
