Reach DM - phoned and asked to confirm our address. I asked them why they want to know our address, their reply was to confirm the details. I just told them to remove us from their database.

It is illegal to collect information without a privacy act. Next time she calls ask her if she likes it from behind :P

They did not want to answer my questions its a scam

They called and hanged up 2 times today . I called back and no one answer. What they want to get from the calling game???

We detect all calls from that number (and others).
They get automagically directed to a short recording that says :
"The number you have called is NOT connected. Please check the number and call again".
After their second attempt, it appears they don't bother to call again.
Nice.

Called asking for the business owner and if the manager was correct, she hung up as soon as i asked where she was calling from. Hope she calls me back.

I got a call from this number, I have read all the other inputs. yes I know its from an overseas caller, I must question how on earth do they get the Australian calling, ID for different states, to make out they are calling from Australia. Even when I tried to call back the number , recording stating this number is discounted. major SCAM!!!

Scammers wanting to confirm business details. Do not answer their questions. And do not answer with the word yes to confirm anything. She hung up as soon as I asked why they wanted the information.

Indian based with a false American accent rang on 18 Feb 2021 at 17:25 - wanted to confirm our mailing address - asked more questions and she just hung up....she sounded constipated!

They called and asked to confirm the business address. I asked why and she said to "confirm the address". I asked why she needed to confirm it and she said they "help similar businesses reach each other". I asked her to please take us off the list and she said "yes I can" and immediately hung up.

As soon as I asked them if they were selling my details she hung up. Yes they do sell the database to other businesses.

Asked for details of business ownership and address confirmation.
Said that they were from RDM. Should have told them to just email me their request
for information. Cant see the point of their call. All of my information is public anyway.
Though there is a concern that they just want to use voice for something.
So tired of contention and deception.

She eventually hung up the phone after I began asking her for more details. Obviously a scam caller.
