Claiming to be from Optus - told me I was due for an upgrade (I am) had all my details, so I asked to be put on $50, 9GB plan. They played the Optus plan details recording...so will see if it happens in next few days

Optus rep called and offered me a fantastic deal, went ahead with it and got my phone 3 days later. no issues at all.

Caller: Natalie from Optus Upgrades Department

First call received 21/02/18 from Natalie, was for NBN upgrade from ADSL. Took a few back and forth calls and I got NBN installed from Optus 26/04/18. My bill has been stuffed up and the deal I was offered hasn't come to fruition as of yet. Spoken to other Optus reps through normal channels and they can't see the history despite Optus claiming they record all phone calls for training and quality purposes. Will still try to sort this mess out as I can't get through to (03) 8488 7974 it just rings out.

Had a call from this number. Claimed to be from optus saying that my contract was up in may (it is) and I was eligible for early renewal and offered me a better deal. They had date my contract ends. my full name. my address and date of birth as well as the plan I was currently on. Said my phone will be here within 2-3 days... 3 days later no phone and optus has no records on their system.

This no belongs to optus marketing team. I rang optus and they searched the no to confirm this.
The team rings clients just before the end of their existing contract to offer a good deal.

Still getting calls from this number. No messages. Will block from now on.

This number has been calling me daily for weeks now, no voicemails left and I call the number back on private rings twice and like it answers but hangs up on me straight away..

Called 2 days ago, claimed to be from Optus offering an upgrade (I would be due for one). Said I am on a $70 plan but I am paying around $115 a month (which is wrong but I didn't correct it) and offered to lower my plan to save me some money until I upgrade. Didn't agree to anything over the phone and asked to send me info in an email, gave him my email even though he should of had it on file being 'Optus'. Never received the email.

missed the call from this number, called back and was optus (not sure the actual name when he answered) they had all my details... offered an upgraded to my plan with out me giving any personal details, said yes...(this is monday) said my new phone should be in the mail and to me by Friday.. we'll see. seemed legit
