Missed call, left line open and could hear telemarket room sounds in background.

The best way to stop these calls coming through is to answer the call and stay perfectly quiet. The computer which auto dials your number may try more than once but if it receives no answer, it will automatically take your number off the list.. It took about a month of doing this as I must have been on multiple lists but now I rarely get a call.

I called back the number (03) 8414 5689 and reached vm that said I reached Australian Charity Fundraiser

I never answer or return phone calls on my landline. A few months ago I broke my rule and found myself speaking to a charity. Charities don’t have to obey the ‘do not call register’. I also found that responding to online petitions or surveys possibly provides another path to contact by not for profit organisations so take care on that front.

This and many others call often.

I called back and got a voice message that said it was the office of Charity Fundraising Direct
