This number, but they did not leave a message. NO it is NOT RIGHT, regardless of whether they are trying to sell something or not. WE pay for this phone, WE get to determine who can ring us. All the excuses talked about here are pointless as we have decided we DO NOT WANT these calls and have taken measures to prevent them from happening. But of course the Bleeding Heart Brigade feels that these poor people are badly done by and so dream up all sorts of excuses that RENEGOTIATES our wish NOT TO BE DISTURBED! Just the single fact that they cannot be bothered to leave a message is sufficient for me to tell them to go you know where... YOU want a response from us, you had better become BETTER MANNERED!

Completely agree Dwayne! its an invasion of privacy, that simple! the top reviewers quote :(Ignoring these calls will not make them go away) displays that in fact these types of callers are rude, continuing to harass and bombard a persons private number shows they have no regard for a persons privacy or care... the top comment is the embarrassing and dumb one.

"Honestly some of the comments on this website are just embarrassing. How difficult is it for an adult to answer a phone call an politely speak to another human being."

Might be embarrassing to you, but I pay for my phone for MY use, not for some other body to use it for their purposes.

Same experience as others - this looks like an unsolicited marketing call.

They leave no message - so I'll make a point now of not answering it.

Caller: Survey to scam you

Never give you personal details or bank accounts. It’s none of their business even if you think they are legitimate or not. If they find your phone number without permission treated as a way of getting something out of you for nothing

I totally agree, your number is on the 'Do Not Call Register' and this is ignored and why should we answer an unkown call please, stop calling. They don't just call once, they call numerous times on different days, its annoying.

The researcher was extremely pushy and asking me to recall details of my life that I did not document. I feel that if they want study human behaviour it would be more effective to conduct a controlled research. I don't recall what i ate for breakfast today, let alone asking me how many trips i ve taken in the past 6 months. If i don't track or keep a record of these thing, how am I suppose to be able to answer the questions?

The government should provide monetary incentives for these type of things. I felt like i was treated as a criminal when I have done nothing wrong.

I do not want to answer to them. I block each and every number they use and still they insist on repeating calls on different numbers. OK so understand I will not participate and act like an adult and TAKE THE HINT! This is abusing the system, intensely irritating, and very disruptive when I get interruptions day and night sometimes at times when I am trying to deal with a critical issue.
Grow up, learn some manners and "HAPPILY LEAVE ME ALONE".
What kind of valid response do you think you are going to get when your data collection process is so flawed as to deliberately induce rage in the respondents?
What kind of peer review would accept such results?
Who in their right mind would pay for such damaged and biased raw data?
Who in their right mind is fooled by the conclusions reached?

Didn't answer, but checked on this site to see who they were. Best thing to do is block their number or just simply don't answer the phone.

Bit much to ask me to leave a message when I ring back when they won't leave one when they ring me to let me know WTF they wan't, maybe that should be legislated; that they must leave a message if they go to voicemail or be banned from callling again.

I missed their call so I rang them back. The moment I heard they were a research organisation, I blocked their number. The only thing that comes to mind from an unknown caller willing to get information from me is: SCAM.

Don’t call me at 745pm on a Tuesday night to do a survey about companies I don’t use/have access to.

I get the feeling these calls are from a branch of Russell St. Police station
Melbourne Vic AUS doing random police checks. God knows telephone companies have a general idea of,
who or where, these calls are coming from. switchboard operators have to put these arseholes through to you, there's no reason why customer's should use Reverse Australia looking up phone numbers to find people, but it seems like the Jaks are using it to cover their arse.
Police are hiding behind Reverse Australia pouncing on civilians by recording calls and conversations, and then blaming it on telemarketers, sales reps, and surveys trying to bust a culprit. .If the callers came clean with whom they are, there would be little or no confusion and a lot less Bullsh*t, But, coppers will still play their f*cking idiot games.
And So It Goes
