Caller: Telstra Business

Rang 132200 Telstra Service yesterday. Asked to get CALLER ID on my copper-wire Home Business phone connection. Indian guy in Adelaide told me he had enabled it... still not enabled. BUT today I get a call from Telstra Business wanting to book an appointment for NBN phone/internet. I told them I will contact them WHEN I'M READY. And complained again about INDIAN SCAM CALLS and the it should be STANDARD that we know "WHO IS CALLING" (without spoofing) and "WHERE THEY ARE CALLING FROM". The girl said she was in the Philippines (which I believe as her accent gave it away). I an sick of Telstra passing our names and numbers onto other people!

Did not speak 5 calls

He said it was in regards to my electricity account, I said "no it's not" then hung up.

Silence when answered, 10 seconds later a loud-ish noise and hang up.

Scam

A female with I assume was an Indian sounding accent. She wanted to make an appointment for a Telstra Manager to attend my offices the next day for 15 minutes to update my NBN. And save me a lot of money.

I missed a call from this number today and have now blocked the number thanks to the reviews left here. Thanks everyone!

Thanks for posting it is a scam. Never answer calls from Melbourne as know no one in Melbourne and when answered in past all turn out to be scams. I check number on these forums before blocking.

Caller: Scammer

Indian sounding man threatened me. Said he was going to cancel my electricity when I asked to be taken off the list. Then I said I will call the police and he threatened me some more. So I hung up. Just hang up and block the number.

Claimed to be my electricity provider (although wasn't) - knew my former address. Hung up when I said that wasn't my address

Silence when answered. Then a voice said “Hello” & quickly hung up. I had blocked this number. How did the call get through?

silence at the other end and then they hang up, alot of these happening, just blocking them off.

Recently I received a lot of scam calls there is no one to report

Sounds Asian or Indian - claim to be from Aus Government about solar rebate - I just hung up

Likely scam

I'd been waiting on hold for 1 hour and 11 minutes, to talk to my bank. This number called, and I was expecting an important call, I took the call, only to hear some sales pitch for solar/electricity something or another. The guy's subcontinental accent was incomprehensible. I have him a verbal serve and he hung up. I tried to call back, only to get immediately disconnected.

Called and no message left: no response when called back
