Called me today asking for Len. I told him Len wasn't home at the moment (I have no idea who Len is btw). He asked me if I knew when Len was coming back I said I didn't know. He said it didnt matter as he probably got the phone number wrong and then asked me if I wanted to know what he was calling about. I told him he better not tell me as he was calling to speak with Len and I wasn't Len. He again asked if he would tell me about what he was calling about. I made it quite clear that was a breach of Len's personal business and suggested he find the correct number for Len and call him. He then hung up on me LOL
Oh well it kept me amused for 5 minutes

İndian accent male called to ask if I wanted funeral insurance. First asked name, I didn’t say then asked age. The lication was showing as cragieburn Victoria. I just hung up.. definately a spam.

I called back number (03) 8372 3051 reached IVR for a company called Global Contact Partners.

How do I get my number off of these call lists? I'm getting at least half a dozen a week from various numbers!

I missed the call and called back only to be met by an automated answer service stating "Global Contact Partners" (Huh???) asking me to stay on the line. The location was showing as Craigieburn Victoria.

Unable to answer the question "How does a deceased person claim their Funeral Insurance" hmmmm.....

Called at dinner time so my husband answered. He asked them what it was about and they said "just a few questions and you can go". That didn't go down well.

I received a phone call from a person called Katie, asking me if I had all my insurances up to date. She addressed me by my name. I asked her, how she had obtained my name and phone number. Katie replied, that the company had various data sources and she couldn't tell me who had provided Global Contact Partners with my details.

I asked several times to provide me with the source that provided their company with my personal details. I also mentioned that my number was a silent number not available to the public and her call constituted an unsolicited call and breached the Privacy Laws. She immediately offered to remove number from their data base however, to remove my phone to prevent further calls I had to provide her with my Email address, I told her that I wanted to speak to her manager. Katie said, she would transfer my call to her manager several times but tried to closing the call before doing so. Eventually she said, "your number has been removed from our data base thank you for your time" and hung up.

So I received a call as well from this number (03) 8372 2015, straight to the point confirming my name, and then followed with the usual. Funeral insurance etc, unlike most calls like this that I've received in the past, I normally request to speak to a supervisor in order to get information on how they have my information. this lady actually put me on to her supervisor and has advised my data has been sourced and provided my Australian Data Services. I rang them... they advised it is a government funded operation to assist research blah blah, but if you have received unsolicited calls and your looking to speak to Australian data services to call (03) 8820 8126 or if that fails (03) 8518 6028 ....I tried both...no luck no service... followed the prompts anyways to that call and poeff... disconnects as well..

I didn’t answer, called back but got answering machine global contact partners grrr another one on block I’m so over these random calls so many times a day I have more numbers on block than I have in my contact list hehe

Multiple numbers from the same location. I keep blocking them and they still keep calling back. How do you stop this?
