I got a few calls from this number during the last two days. When I answered, there was no response from the other side. Apparently there are idiots.

I got this call every now and then since Wednesday but only answered the call today. This lady identified herself as calling from Optus and thanked me for being a loyal customer and that I am entitled to some credit. The very next second, she said (quote): No you're actually not entitled to anything. Sorry. Have a lovely day! WHAT A LOAD OF CRAPPPPP!!!

Update on my previous message.. just sent this to Telechoice via e-mail to reception @ telechoice.com.au "I am receiving calls to my mobile now my Optus contract has completed ? the phone/contract was signed with you if I recall correctly. The number I am receiving calls from is (03) 8256 7610. I have been told that this is a Telechoice number. I do not wish to receive further calls from your company. My mobile number is xxxxxxxxxx. Could you please confirm that I?ve been removed off of any marketing list you may have by return e-mail. Should I receive further calls, I will make a note of the times and dates and report same to the Telecommunications Ombudsman. I've had 4 calls in 24 hours from this number. It's ridiculous. Luckily I never answer numbers I don't know and google them before calling back. I have emailed them asking them to stop.

i have recently been getting the same call although i am a business customer... i have 8 numbers with optus and now because of these calls i have taken all numbers to telstra...before this i spoke to a lady with an accent who said my number had been taken off their list but today 12 jan 09 i had another call!!

i have this no. call me and not answer when i pick up. i have also had it register as a missed call. this is wrong!!!

Had a call from this number just now, picked it up, but was disconnected about 6 seconds in. Probably just a test to see if this number was still in use, before they call me back and ask me if I want to "upgrade my contract" :P
