This is probably ENGIN telesales operator. If you have an answering machine the operator will ring several times and just sits there till it hangs up (as they did with me) It shows on there stats as being a discussion rather than a unanswered call. Makes it look like they have been working. The call is most likely routed from india to a melbourne switching point using VOIP as well. Its the way to avoid the "do not call"register issues.

I would say the same, this is constant harassment. I think I have possibly given my number out to a Facebook competition, regarding freebies, now I get harassed. Trying to find out how to block the number.

I get these calls at least 3 times a week from this number. I blocked the number from my Iphone and yet it still keeps calling and not leaving a voicemail. I've only ever answered once and they never said anything.

Get phone calls twice a day almost everyday. I don't answer and it goes to my voicemail but they never leave a message. Surely there is something that can be done about the constant harassment? It's getting ridiculous!

I have contacted Engine to stop these calls, they told me my number would be taken of the list but I still get the call, no answer, just the calls, from Engin there must be some way of stopping it.

Have quite a few calls each day. Called back twice to be told "This is to confirm you have been contacted by engine". Now I just delete them and never call them back.

I rang this number on my phone. I cannot remember why.

These guys call from 6am until after b9pm at night they have been extremely rude and will not tell me who they are. I have been experiencing this for months now. They have even sworn at my children.

I have not answered any of the calls from this number, it's been going on for weeks and I've even hung up on them and they still ring. I don't know how they got my number. It's harassment and extremely annoying. If it continues I may go to police too.

These people are persistant and annoying. Should be banned.

sumhow they got my new number?? should be harsher penalties for these type of callers. if one of us did harassing calls we'd be fined. we need 3 strikes and your out for many crimes. (03) 8256 6757

They rang my phone, and said that I had enquired about Phone and Internet, which I hadn't. I asked them a few questions about their company. I got info out of the person on the phone saying that she was ringing from the Philippines, and that Engin HQ was in Melbourne. Not sure if this is correct but I kept them on the phone for a bit, and they just said, "Have a good day Sir", and just hung up. Got called from (03) 8256 6757. They have called several times and like other people that have complained, when I ring back, total silence. Should not be allowed.

Why do companies use a service like this - they just make you decide to never ever have any dealings with them. There is such a thing as bad publicity.

I have been contacted by this number once today and I didn't answer the call but I got a voicemail message and when I checked my voicemail there was dead silence!! Also have been contacted by an (03) 8256 6769 number too. I'm not even going to bother to answer them its such a nuisance

This should be illegal. Its harrassment. (03) 8256 6757 you are not contactable and ontop of that you are wasting my battery calling and not leaving messages. If its not fixed within a week, ill be contacting the police about them.

This is certainly engin I rang the number back, it was dead silence when they rang me so I hung up dodgey.. very annoying. They should not be allowed to do this

Relentless phone calls from this number. I answered and they said I had enquired about insurance. When I told them I work in insurance they hung up on me!

I have received 21 calls from this number. Answered none but "it" won't leave a message on my voice mail. I believe "it" is a telemarketer trying to interest me in Solar Power??
I already have Solar Power!!
