Claimed to be an electricity company, likely scam

‭(03) 8202 5153‬ Indian woman with heavy Indian accent called me claiming to be someone from a electricity company..... Wanted my bank details, definitely a scam, if she would have called me claiming she was sending me a lamb bhuna i would have definitely given her my bank details!

Claimed to be "Robin" (male) from {burble}offer.
I am registered on no call - hung up on him
Did not know my name - Definitely sounded like some scam with bad prep.work

Caller: Claimed to be from an electricity supplier offering discounts. Was a different call number (only last few digits from previous nuisance calls)

I've learnt how to block these numbers forever. If you have an iphone, go to:

> Settings
> Phone
> Silence Unknown callers.

This will allow unknown numbers to be silenced and sent straight to voicemail. You get a notification that someone called you but it will not ring. If it is an important call, you can still see the number and call back if they don't leave a voicemail.

Just got this call from this number and when I answer they remain quiet.

Just block the (03) 8202 5432 or any number like it !!

Just received a missed call from this number. Didn't answer but I expect that it was a scam.

Clearly some sort of scam - unfortunately they are calling on a weekly basis and claim not to sell anything
Never had enough patience to actually hear the person with poor English finish her scam story but stay away!

Same style like many other nuisance calls before, 03 area code, listed on my iPhone as coming from Croydon in Vic, this time a male voice with subcontinent accent as usual, introduced himself as utility company and started talking about the phone being audiotaped for educational purposes (or something similar, I don’t take a y notice anymore) and wanting to introduce something and I hung up and blocked immediately. It appears that they try to contact me from the same phone number a few times and then switch to the next one.

Claims to be calling on behalf of OFFER INSURANCE regarding my electricity provider

Caller: Someone regarding our electricity bill

They all pronounce my name incorrectly but in the same style. Am getting sick and tired of these electricity and other spam calls. They change phone numbers like others their underwear. Lately my iPhone lists them coming from Croydon Victoria. I find these phone calls quite intrusive, irritating and annoying. But even blocking their numbers does not make a difference anymore.

They asked for credit card details. Be aware.

They make out they can't here you tell them to fxxk off !!
