They didn’t leave a message, blocked

Called 5 times in one day to my tablet. Number not used for calling.

Getting repeat calls from this number, also (03) 8103 8685. Disengages as soon as I answer. Follows a pattern from various numbers, usually bearing an interstate prefix, such as 02, 03 or 07. I suspect it's some form of scam, but no idea how it works, though the scam may be triggered by returning the call, so I would suggest avoiding ringing back as a safeguard.

Called back, could not understand where they were calling from, asked what they were calling me about and they said about my electricity. No thanks not interested BLOCKED

no message. when I returned the call, they refused to identify themselves.

Caller: Benefit B, regarding electricity package

I answered, it took a few seconds to connect, then someone with an overseas accent said they are calling about saving me electricity costs etc. I didnt entertain it further after that and hung up.

I called back the number (03) 8103 8687 and the guy on the other line said I reached Benefit Deal
