Hi yes I received the same call, someone saying they are from Optus Business centre trying to make an appointment with me, sounded VERY unprofessional and when I said I wasn't interested politely they hung up quickly. I don't actually think it was Optus though!

Rang me they were rude and very angry on the phone don't answer this call if you want to avoid a very nasty Indian or Asian operator talkin out of their ass

Cold call from "Optus" asking me how many mobiles we have within our business, quickly google searched the number and found this thread. I told the representative (didn't catch their name but had Indian accent) that there were over 30 complaints about this phone number and could they please remove our details from their calling list, I was immediately transferred to someone else (again, Indian accent) who tried to continue the conversation - I repeated myself three times mentioning the bad reviews and that we would not be looking to engage in any way with their services. Finally got them to give up on trying to set up a meeting with us to "discuss our phone options".

The main reason I knew they weren't legitimate Optus other than this thread? We already have an account with Optus...

Rang back answering machine said nothing about name of business or who was calling but said to leave my details. Audacity.

Saying they were from Optus Business, but used my maiden surname as my first name and claimed I was the business owner (which i'm not). They didn't even care for me to verify if i was the owner or not. They wanted to discuss phone bill and set up a meeting. When i questioned the origin of the phone number compared to where I was located, he got all cagey and then before I could even finish telling him i wasn't interested he had already hung up.

Asian accent.. they are trying to get the word "YES" out of you. Can you hear me?

They record it, then use it to transfer your services as a recorded "YES" confirmation to do so. Very dodgy.

Put this number in as junk so that you know not to talk with them. Waste of time

These calls from OPTUS are bloody annoying. Even after telling them not to call me again. They continue to call.

Always calls me asking for changing to Optus which i'm not interested to do, please don't take these calls seems like scammers

Guy claimed to be from Optus and said he was after a certain person in our business. I put him on-hold to see if she was in, then resumed the call to tell him she was gone for the day. He was very angry that he was placed on hold, and then more angry when I wasn't the account holder or the person he was after.

Either a scam call, or disgraceful service.

Just had someone call from this number claiming to be from Opus wanting to speak to someone regarding our 4 accounts. I advised them that we didn't an account with optus, they again asked to speak to someone about our 4 Optus accounts. Again advised that we didn't have any accounts with Optus to which they responded f*ck you bitch and hung up

They said they were calling from Optus, when i asked them to clarify they swore at me have blocked.

Called asking for General Manager. Claimed he was from Optus Business Centre. I kept asking what it was in regard to, and he talked to me like I was in idiot... even said "Do you understand now?" Keep laughing buddy, I'm not as stupid as you think. Told him that the person he asked for couldn't help him. Asked for someone who could, said they weren't available. Asked for someone else, I told him they weren't available either.... hahaha... guess who had the last laugh....
