These people don't ring long enough to answer the call.
Can ring up to 3 times a day.
Sick & tired of it.

That is fine but it would be way more beneficial, for all involved, if the caller actually left a message about the reason for their call. You'll note that many people now just ignore numbers they don't know, especially numbers that look a little odd, therefore unless they call the number back they won't have an opportunity to ask to be taken off the list. Again, you'll note that many people will not call back a number they don't know, especially if there is no message left about the nature of the call, therefore they will continue to receive 'mysterious' phone calls. Most of these issues and perhaps many of these complaints could possibly be avoided if the caller just left a message stating the reason for the call and asking if the callee would return the call. If the callee does not return the call, the caller should accept that the callee is NOT INTERESTED and remove the number from the list.

They rang me twice and hung up before I could get to the phone on Saturday morning, nearly broke my neck slipping on way out of shower. I called back only to get a message that the office hours are Mon to Fri. WTF why are they ringing me on a Saturday???? Next time they call they are going to get a feckin earful from me.

I had a store card with GE who apparently are now owned by Latitude Financial Services. Random call to try and solicit more money via personal loans etc. I just shut them down quickly and asked to never be called again.

Keeps calling, and hanging up. I finally answered. They asked to speak to "Nigel". I informed I did not know anyone by that name. They then started to try and get my details. I advised not interested and hung up. They called twice after that. Number now blocked.

I have blocked this number after several missed calls. It seems to be the easiest way to have them stop.

It might not be a scam, but it is most certainly spam, using aggressive, persistent, unsolicited calls to secure a credit contract from vulnerable people.

Yes they were calling frequently & I have just gotten to the stage on my personal mobile that if I don't know the number & they don't leave a msg I'm not going to respond, it stopped. Then the calls from (03) 9034 9793 started. The weird number 7002 1900 makes me suspicious as they seem to be Voip generally & usually off shore call centres. Its interesting that people have mentioned it is Latitude, now I know I don't have to bother answering!

This is someone posing as an operator from Latitude Financial Services (GE). I hung up and called GE immediately. They know that you are an existing customer and I imagine that they try to extract information to access your account. I was immediately suspicious because he became quite aggressive when I told him that he had my credit limit incorrect.

If you dont answer we can call you a few times until you answer. Its easier just to say not interested
