Female claimed she was calling 'on behalf of ABS', then proceeded to ask the following:- age bracket 20>50, marital status, home ownership, working part time or full time, and then Household income.. once over 100k wasn't interested.

I work for the ABS and can confirm its not the ABS

wanted to ask me 10 seconds worth of questions about life in Queensland. Said I didn't want to complete a survey, so she hung up.

Scam call. Claims to be calling from Brisbane City Council, but obviously isn't. You would think they might not call from an 03 number if they're claiming to be in Brisbane. Hang up.

Knew my name. Claimed they were doing survey for Kingston Council. When I stated they were ringing from Tasmania they hung up.

Caller ID said Launceston, Tas. Said it was ABS, wanted 5 seconds for a quick survey in NSW. When I said I was busy he hung up.

Called my Nan multiple times, asking to speak to my mum. She passed away 5yrs ago. When my Nan says no, the hang straight up. Tried calling it back, it does nothing, no ring, no voicemail. Nothing

Indian Female claimed she was calling 'on behalf of ABS', knew my name then proceeded to ask the following, age bracket 20>50 said I didn't fit the age bracket so she hung up.

Tried to call back number to give her a bit of curry however avr says number not in service filthy scum sucking crooks!

Said they were from City Of Kingston (Melb) but phone # says Tasmania?? doing survey - after first question re my age bracket I hung up

Tried to call and claim that they are ABS. Didn't believe it and hung up.

Asked if I had traveled out of Victoria in the last five years.
Wanted to know if I was between the ages 20 and 55. I told the caller it was non of his biz and he hung up !! Scam of one sort or another .... blocked the call number .

Claimed to be from Australian Bureau of Statistics, when I explained I was at work she hung up in my ear. I have blocked this number! Not a very professional way to conduct business as I was very polite to the caller.
