Yep, same as above. A monotone voice saying to ring back immediately or to get my 'attorney' to ring back and not to ignore this message. That they were from the ATO and the message was from Kelly Walker.

Some Indian guy says he's from the ATO. Absolute scam. When I questioned him he told me that I am a "Mother f*cker" and that my wife should "Suck his d*ck". Haha..... I'll pass on the message but I seriously doubt that she will be interested.

Received same message saying not to ignore and from someone from taxation office with a number to call, but as did not have pen did not write down. However have caller id so looked up number here as was very puzzled why taxation office would be calling me, as retired. Agree sounds like scam, as I am sure Tax office would contact by mail if they wanted to contact anyone.

My mother had 2 calls from this number and when she answered it was an automated message. The women said she was from Tax Office and said she needed to call back or they would take legal action. Mum couldn't quite understand the phone number that was left to call so she rang the number that came up on her phone. A man answered, not saying where he was from, Mum told him she had a message to call them and asked what department he was from. He answered with "you need to listen to the message again and call that number" then hung up.

Three calls today so far from this number. I never answer but get a message from a computer generated voice saying it is the tax office and that I had better return the call before they take action.

No message left so I called back as received 2 calls within a few minutes of each other. Did not even connect. Just rang once and then like someone picked up and put down immediately.

Two messages received on our answer phone today telling us it was Officer Nikki Johnson from the Australia Tax Office and that either, "you or your lawyer" must call back immediately to avoid legal action being taken. The number given to call back on was (03) 6121 4118
