Supposedly Telstra, but a recorded message about internet being compromised and press one to talk to technician or internet will be blocked. Had this call quite a number of times, never pressed one and never had internet blocked.

Supposedly about NBN being now available in my area and my landline would be discounted in 24hours, and press one to talk to technician. Said they had been trying to get me a number a times. Had this call quite a number of times and let go to answering machine.

Hung up as soon as answer machine picked up the call.

Caller: Scammer

Overseas scam Robo callers "Telstra Technical Support” for virus and internet problems from overseas using a spoofed local number. Diverted to spammer answering machine.

Supposed to be from Telstra saying my IP was compromised.

I called back number (03) 5723 6982 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
