automated message saying I would be arrested if I don't call back - scam

Tax scam. Claims you haven’t paid enough and you will be arrested if you don’t pay. Surely no one falls for that crap

I had a call from the same number which said court proceedings were commencing against me

Left a text to contact them re “suitcase “ on file

Called and said they were from the ATO. Robot voice in American accent. Phone said they were calling from Bendigo. The voice said that if i didn't get back to them that they will release a warrant for my arrest.

Same as above. Dodgy and a waste of time. How or to whom is this stuff supposed to be reported?

Same called me today rang them back got an Indian who when I asked who he was he claimed he was ATO investigator but then quickly hung up on me when I asked his name and more details about him.

Robotic message saying theirs a court order against my name (no name mentioned though) and if I don’t call the number back straight away, I’ll be arrested.
Bloody scammers!!!!

Answered the phone and said automated message that if I don’t call back will have law suite against me. Called back and on their do Indian voice answered and asked who it was and asked for my name. Did not give it. Asked man why he called and he hung up.

Leave me a threatening message call back or u will be arrested. Joking? No legitimate organisation will do such silly thing. Do not call them back they may record your name and your voice and to call the bank......
