Just adding my name to the list of complaints. I keep getting a message on my answer phone but because it's a recorded message, the message starts before my phone starts recording - hence I only get the last few digits of the phone number. I rang the call back to get the number and yes it's Origin Energy. I'm already a customer so I don't know what they hope to gain other than pissing me off and making me go elsewhere. Be wary people - someone I know had another energy company ring her and although she said she didn't want to change energy companies, they changed her account over anyway. First thing she knew about it was when she got a bill from the new company.

Received a call from them, called back. was in relation to Origin purchasing Integral meaning gas is now on offer (integral didn't offer this). When I told her I don't have gas, basically she said to give Origin a call and they can help with discounts on 13 24 63. Spoke with Origin, seems to be a real lack of communication, however, she did say up to 13% discount can be offered if I switch over to Origin before the actual transition happens in 6 - 18 mths. Overall, could be worthwhile, however as stated above, has done a disservice to Origin.

I googled this number to find out WHY they keep ringing. Turns out to be Origin Energy.

We should all forward this list of complaints to them.
They rang at 1am and again 11am most of the time.

what a joke im on the do not call and at the end of the day its origin power.the lady onn yhr phone was a rude pig so im now changing my power company so there loss

These people call me every day for weeks "about a discount offer with Origin Energy" and it has been going on for months. How do I get them to stop!!!!

This number called 10 times over past 2 months, when answered always get response..."sorry mate wrong number"

Origin Energy call EVERY day at 11:00AM - regardless of what I say or if I hang hup - they call again. A very large fine is needed to stop this behaviour.

They are constantly calling my home number. I live with my father who has high anxiety and depression, this is something that adds to his daily struggles! These companies make me feel sick!

They have called me every day this week. I told them I dont own my house yet they still call. Any way to do something about this?

Thanks for clearing this up for me!! I have been getting a call from this number everyday, but not answered it. Even so, they don't leave a message for me on voicemail either. I think I will give origin a call and ask them why I'm being harrassed so often!!

Had the same thing on my mobile, over & over! Glad I didn't bother calling back, have just added the number to the reject list on my phone- thanks everyone

So sick of it - how many times do they ring!!! They are completely rude, even when you say you are busy and don't want to know about it they keep harrassing and asking questions until you just hang up. It almost wants to make me take any and all business away from them!

The thing that pisses me off about this mob is that they are supposed to be calling you to offer you a deal on your energy.. but when you pick up there is a recorded message to call them back. The reason they can call you even if you're on the do not call registry is that they are calling on behalf of Origin and you are an Origin customer. They are really doing origin (and themselves) a disservice. I am going to be making a formal complaint to Origin Energy about them as well as to the TIO if no satisfactory response.

Been getting calls from these guys all week on my mobile. At first I just let it go to voice mail but was getting so annoying that I finally answered. To make it more annoying they didn't even answer when I picked up. Next time I'm going to be answering with a loud whistle.

Yeah it's Origin energy wanting to offer discounts on gas.

Had a call today - "do you have a natural gas line into your house?"
