I tried to call back the number (03) 5354 5239 but the person who picked up the phone disconnected the call

Called me and didn’t say anything when I call back it’s disconnected I just change my number a day ago due to Christine Maratech scam so I don’t know if this is linked

keeps calling then hangs up, call back number and it say's check number? is this a fault or just prank calls

They have called many times and never do they ever actually speak. Very annoying
