100% Spam... Left a message threatening to issue a warrant for my arrest if I didn't return their call... Good work guys, 'A' for creativity

Caller: ATO

I innocently gave my full name. I was asked to give my postcode. it was then that i asked "how do i know you are from the ATO ?" She then hung upon me. I decided to call back to find out who called and a recorded message said the number was engaged.

Scammer, ATO department saying ring otherwise a law suit is about to be filed against me and a warrant for my arrest will be issued

They called and said I have debt at ATO. Which I do not have. Immediately you’re the scammers I heard about. They put the phone down in my ear.

Recorded voice message said that a law suit was going to be filed under my name and if I didn't call back I would be arrested. I called back the phone wasn't answered professionally, just 'hello', then a pause, I said hello twice, no answer, then hung up. Obviously some sort of scam.

I called back number (03) 5294 0802 rang once then gets disconnected automatically.
