Appears to be a similar situation to the comments listed for the same number ending in 0195. I would be arrested if I did not return the call. After reading the comments for 0195 I've decided not to worry about calling back.

I believe the call I had from this number is a scam. Called it from a silent number and it rang once then dropped out

Same as above - automated message claiming they will have to issue an arrest warrant in my name if I don’t call back. I wonder which government department works after 5pm.

They called and were very aggressive, when I said I would get my solicitor to call them back, they said that I was a criminal and they would meet me at the court house for tax fraud...what a horrible bunch of people, shame on them!!

Got a missed call no message, abused me after I asked what it was regarding, muttered something in broken English regarding tax and then called me a f*cking bitch when I asked what it was regarding. Scam... no ATO professional would do such thing.

an automated message saying they're from the ATO & that I need to call back on (03) 5294 0299 otherwise a warrant will be issued for my arrest. tried calling the ato scam hotline but they're obviously getting loads of people wanting to report scams & ended up hanging up after 10min on hold. I'm pretty sure that this is a scam. tried calling from another number (not the number they called me on) & it rang but once it answered it hung up.. very annoying..

Obvious scam. Claiming to be from the ATO calling re tax evasion. South American accent. I was going to be arrested if I did not resolve the matter.
