Called and hung up when I answered

Picked it like a dirty nose...
obvious spamming number from somewhere I know nobody nor have ever been - google it while it still ringing - and voila this page comes up... and havent they been busy today!

Supposedly Bairnsdale number but didn't leave a message. Never answer a number you are not familiar with. Another one on the ever growing blocked number list.

Missed calls twice within a few hours from this number, I was at work so I didn't answer, the caller failed to leave voicemail message on both occasions, if people are going to abuse telecommunications services they should be prosecuted as per federal law and telecoms companies should have the ability to trace nuisance callers so they can be caught. What a dreamer I am. Easier to block their number, which I did. These people need to get real and realise they are dialling actual human beings and stop creating bots to autodial and abuse real people through telecoms. It is a crime.

Have had multiple calls, decided to answer and the person on the other line hung up after I said hello. Number comes up as +0351161909 on my iphone instead of (03) 5116 1909 which is weird

This number rang in April, then in June, and again in July. No idea who so I Blocked the number.

Background noise, like someone’s home, but they didn’t say anything. Weird.

Whilst I agree that this is definitely a "blatant scam call", I think you'll find that every single phone number in Victoria that's outside of Melbourne (and isn't Wodonga) starts with a 5. Look up any business in Ballarat, Geelong, Bendigo, Mildura, Shepparton etc. and it's 5s across the board.

Blatant scam call. Didn't even bother answering. No legitimate number in Victoria starts with a 5.

Hung up immediately as I tried to answer.

Caller: Don’t know supposedly said Bairnsdale number

Message in this afternoon telling me about call. Phone didn’t ring. No voicemail left. Number stated from Bairnsdale. On checking I’d already previously blocked this number. Now blocked it again. There are obviously many scammers out there who can’t earn a living honestly. Suggest find a job, and then do an honest days work and stop wasting others time by calling them and trying to scam them

Knew my name and said calling from g.e.t when I asked what it was, I got silence so I hung up. Definitely not calling from the destination stated.

Called three times in the last 24 hours and no message left

Identification as Bairnsdale but as I’ve read through here obviously not!! Hung up when I answered. Blocked immediately.

This number called myself and my mother at the exact same time. Both of our phones went off from different sides of the house. Neither of us answered.
Will be blocking this number.
