I received a recorded voice message from this number (03) 4309 4122 today stating I have legal complaint under my name regarding tax avoidance fraud issues and should call James Anderson back. Dismissing it as a SPAM.

Scam call in relation to tax avoidance and issue of warrant

Scam call from people posing as the Australian Taxation Office. As an accountant we hear about these from clients a lot, my first one. If you receive one of these calls contact your accountant if you have one that processes your tax return or check your mygov account. Letters are always issued first, do not call them back and do not give them details.

I also had a call from James Anderson saying he was from ATO also. ATO don't usually call, only mail.
I am ignoring this as a spam.

You missed a call from (03) 4309 4122, who said "This call is just to inform you that we received illegal complaint under your name and the complaint is for tax evasion and tax fraud."

I'm guessing it's SPAM???

Said it was James Anderson investigating Tax fraud.

This phone number and James Anderson is a phone scam, he alleges to be with the ATO its a con !!
