this call from from supposed Tax agent Jason O'connor with Phillipiano /American accent saying that I was going to be arrested for tax fraud and a warrant has been issued for my arrest if I did not ring him back and an officer from the local police station would be knocking at my door

Some telco is the owner of (03) 4309 4063.This number is clearly in breach of that telcos conditions of use,Its obviously on diversion to dumb-ass headquarters and should be cancelled.

Yeah same, tax evasion, robotic voice, and local police with warrant to arrest

Spam them back with abusive phone calls using redial. Very quickly they block your number - problem solved.......

Just had the same call for outstanding Tax but it was an Indian continent sounding gentleman.

This is a hoax and very scary as we are trying to correct a mis payment from Centrelink so almost thought was genuine.
So many blocked numbers in my phone from all these dodgy people!

OMG these people need locking up and the Tax office should find them with all our paid TAX. Kenneth Mathews watch out we are after you, you low life.

I got a call from his number today saying was going to be arrested for Tax evasion

My elderly father received a message from Kenneth Mathews from the Australian Taxation Office on this number stating my father had committed tax fraud. My father hasn't submitted a tax return for over 10 years! I have all my fathers phone messages recorded so I listened to Kenneth's message with his American accent and he used the word "attorney" which is not used in Australia. I called Kenneth back and he answered Australian Taxation Office with an American accent. Funnily enough I work in this industry and the ATO do not leave threatening messages of which I advised Kenneth and he hung up. Tell your elderly parents, the Tax Office never call to say you have committed tax fraud or owe money to the Tax Office. All ATO correspondence is by letter.

Scam! I got the same voice message today.Apparently I have evaded/avoided tax and there is a warrant for my arrest - ooh I'm scared! hahah

Message claiming to be Tax Dept about tax not paid. To call them back urgently or will be a police matter. Robotic voice like voice-changing software. Did not call back. Can't track down phone number yet.
