Caller: Scam

Called back. Says the number is called was unavailable, the number said was not the number that called. Asked for a message to be left.

Sounded like a fake voice recording

Caller: Australian Wine Group.

These guys are rabid. They don't listen to what you say, and just keep talking down to you like a school teacher does to eight year olds.
I asked that my number be removed from their list, but they just keep calling whenever they feel like it.

Blocked one and the other started calling

Not sure if it’s a voice recording or not, sounds very real if so, but extremely annoying, called under different numbers each time all from Newtown Victoria

This number called me just then and I do not live in the state that the area code (03) is used.
I however stupidly answered the phone and I was told that I the Federal Police wanted to speak with me. I said I think you got the wrong telephone number.
Then I said who were you after and the woman responded "Can I first start with your full name and date of birth so we know that we are speaking to the right person?"
Well, I answered "Look lady; I'm definitely not stupid and yes I was born at night but definitely not overnight"
Then she hung up the phone.
DO NOT ANSWER THIS CALL FROM THIS NUMBER!
I have now blocked the number.

They had my first name and knew which wine I liked. I asked them where they got my phone number and he rattled on about databases and their privacy policy. The guy was so enthusiastic it was almost like it was pre recorded. I asked to be removed but I will see if they keep calling.

Everyday this number calls. Let it ring out and block it.

One of several similar numbers that keep calling, when I picked up just hang up on me, if I didn't pick up they will not leave a message. Blocked.
