Caller: NBN Company Received a call from (03) 2250 9252 stating that they have tried to contact us for the past couple of day (LIE) and that our internet will be disconnected within 24 hours (LIE - they cannot do this as they are not the provider) due to the NBN being available in this area (another big LIE). I followed the prompt by pressing 1 to be connected to a technical person who thanked me for signing up with them. When I said 'no I won't be signing up as an NBN customer with them', the female hung up .... lol, how unusual. Beware of these scammers as they are trying to coerce the unsuspecting person to sign up with them as a NBN customer.
